If you are driving, head to Salisbury, Vermont. From the center of Salisbury, take Lake Dunmore Road (VT-30) northbound. Continue on Lake Dunmore Road for about 3 miles. Branbury State Park will be on your right at 3570 Lake Dunmore Rd. There is a parking fee of approximately $4.00 for day use.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in Windsor County. You can take a bus to Middlebury and then arrange for a taxi or ride-sharing service to take you the remaining 15 miles to Branbury State Park. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be infrequent.
Bicycle
For the adventurous, biking from Middlebury to Branbury State Park is an option. The ride is approximately 15 miles and will take you through scenic Vermont landscapes. Take VT-30 south from Middlebury to Lake Dunmore Road, and then follow the directions for cars to reach the park. Be prepared for some elevation changes and ensure you have proper safety gear.
