Walking
From the center of Woodstock, head southeast on Elm Street towards the Ottauquechee River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Cross over Route 4, and you will see the entrance to the scenic walking path along the river. Follow this path, which runs parallel to the river, for about half a mile. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to West Woodstock Bridge. The bridge will be visible as you approach it, located over the Ottauquechee River.

If you have a bicycle, start at the Woodstock Village Green. Head south on Central Street, which turns into Route 12. After about 0.3 miles, you'll reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn right onto Route 4, and carefully bike along the shoulder. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will see a pathway leading to the Ottauquechee River on your left. Take this path and follow it to West Woodstock Bridge, which is a short ride from the main road.
