If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Buon Ma Thuot city. Head southeast on ĐT14 toward ĐT14B, continue for about 30 km. Take the exit toward Nha Trang/Phan Thiết on the AH1 highway. Follow this road for approximately 200 km until you reach the Phan Thiết area. Once in Phan Thiết, follow signs to Mũi Né by taking the ĐT716 road. Hòn Rơm will be located along this road, and you can follow the coastline for stunning views.

From Buon Ma Thuot, take a local bus to Phan Thiết. Buses operate several times a day, and the journey takes about 5-6 hours. Once you arrive at the Phan Thiết bus station, you can take a taxi or a local bus towards Mũi Né. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Hòn Rơm, and they will drop you off near the location. The taxi fare from the bus station to Hòn Rơm should be around 100,000-150,000 VND.
