Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Buon Ma Thuot, take National Route 14 heading towards Dak Lak. After approximately 150 km, you will reach the town of Gia Nghia. Continue on National Route 14 for about 60 km until you reach the junction with National Route 28. Turn left onto National Route 28 and follow the signs toward the border with Cambodia. You will eventually reach the town of Veun Sai. From there, follow local signage to Virachey National Park, which is located near the coordinates 14.1885178, 106.8651083. Ensure you have a GPS or map app handy, as road signs can be limited.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Virachey National Park using public transportation, start from Buon Ma Thuot and take a bus heading towards Gia Nghia. Once you arrive at Gia Nghia, switch to a bus that goes to the border town of Veun Sai in Cambodia. The bus ride may take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on the schedule and border crossing times. Once you arrive in Veun Sai, you can hire a local taxi or motorcycle taxi to take you to the entrance of Virachey National Park. Keep in mind to check ahead for bus schedules, as they can vary.   If you prefer a more comfortable option, consider hiring a taxi or using a ride-hailing service from Buon Ma Thuot directly to Virachey National Park.
