    If you are starting from Hoan Kiem Lake, head east towards Dinh Tien Hoang Street. Continue onto Le Thai To Street and then take a left onto Trang Thi Street. Follow Trang Thi until you reach the intersection with Ly Thuong Kiet Street. Turn right onto Ly Thuong Kiet and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Le Dai Hanh Street. Chùa Vân Hồ will be on your left at 40 P. Lê Đại Hành.

    Find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 01 (from Kim Ma to Long Bien). Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the 'Bệnh viện Thanh Nhàn' stop. From there, walk east on Bạch Mai Street until you reach Lê Đại Hành Street. Turn left, and Chùa Vân Hồ will be at 40 P. Lê Đại Hành on your right.
