If you are in the central part of Hoan Kiem District, you can easily reach Hanoi Train Street by walking. Start from Hoan Kiem Lake, head northwest toward Trần Phú Street. Walk along Trần Phú until you reach the intersection with Hàng Bông Street. Turn left onto Hàng Bông and continue walking straight. After about 500 meters, you will see the entrance to Hanoi Train Street at 3 P. Trần Phú on your left.

Cyclos are a popular mode of transport in Hanoi. You can hire a cyclo from any nearby tourist area or street. Instruct the driver to take you to 3 P. Trần Phú, Hàng Bông. The ride will cost you around 50,000 to 100,000 VND depending on your negotiation skills. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
