Getting There

• Car

  From Hanoi, take the National Route 5 (QL5) heading east towards Hai Phong. Continue for about 60 kilometers until you reach the intersection with National Route 10. Once in Halong City, head to the Tuan Chau Island area, where the Stellar of the Seas cruise terminal is located. Parking facilities are available near the terminal, and parking fees may apply.

• Bus

  From Hanoi, you can take a bus to Ha Long City. Buses depart from various locations, including My Dinh Bus Station and Gia Lam Bus Station. The journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Make sure to choose a bus company that goes directly to Ha Long. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bus Station, you can take a taxi or local transport to Tuan Chau Island, where the Stellar of the Seas cruise terminal is located. Taxi fares from the bus station to Tuan Chau Island range from 200,000 to 300,000 VND.

• Train and Taxi

  You can also take a train from Hanoi to Ha Long City. Trains depart from Hanoi Railway Station and take about 12 hours, so this option is less convenient. Upon arrival at Ha Long Railway Station, you will need to take a taxi to Tuan Chau Island, which will take around 30 minutes and cost approximately 200,000 VND.
