Walking
If you are in the Hoàn Kiếm Lake area, head towards the north side of the lake and look for Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street. Walk along this street until you reach the intersection with Hàng Trống Street. Turn left onto Hàng Trống and continue walking until you reach the next intersection with P. Mã Mây. Turn right onto P. Mã Mây Street. The Hanoi Free Walking Tours office will be on your left at number 23.

Public Bus
Find the nearest bus stop in the city center. Take bus number 14 or 18, which will take you close to the Old Quarter. Get off at the 'Nhà Thờ Lớn' (St. Joseph's Cathedral) stop. From there, walk towards Phố Huế and then take a right onto Hàng Bài. Continue straight until you reach Hàng Trống, then turn left and walk until you reach P. Mã Mây. Turn right and you will find Hanoi Free Walking Tours at number 23.

Find a cyclo (three-wheeled bicycle taxi) in the Old Quarter. Tell the driver to take you to '23 Phố Mã Mây'. The ride will be a short trip through the bustling streets of the Old Quarter. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey.
