Walking
If you're starting from Hoan Kiem Lake, head south along Hang Khay Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street. Turn left onto Tran Hung Dao Street, and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Hoa Lo Prison Relic on your left at 1 P. Hoả Lò.
Walking
From the Old Quarter, start at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square. Walk south along Hang Bo Street, then turn right onto Ly Thai To Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street. Turn left, and you will find Hoa Lo Prison Relic on your left after about 700 meters.
Public Transport (Bus)
Take Bus No. 09 from any nearby bus stop heading towards Hoan Kiem. Get off at the 'Trần Hưng Đạo' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 250 meters northwest along Tran Hung Dao Street. You will see Hoa Lo Prison Relic on your right at 1 P. Hoả Lò.
Bicycle
If you’re renting a bicycle, start from Hoan Kiem Lake and head south along Hang Khay Street. Proceed to the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street and turn left. Ride straight for about 500 meters. The entrance to Hoa Lo Prison Relic will be on your left at 1 P. Hoả Lò.
