If you are in Hoan Kiem Lake area, head towards the northern end of the lake. From the lake, walk along Le Lai Street (P. Lê Lai) heading west. The Emperor Ly Thai To Monument is located at number 12 on this street, right at the entrance to the Ly Thai To Park. Look for the large statue surrounded by gardens.

Public Transport - Bus
Take bus number 09 or 14 from your nearest bus stop in Hanoi. Make sure to get off at the 'Le Thai To' stop. Once you disembark, walk along Le Lai Street towards the west for about 5 minutes. The statue will be on your left as you approach the park.

You can hire a cyclo to take you directly to the Emperor Ly Thai To Monument. Just tell the driver 'Ly Thai To Monument' or show them the address: 12 P. Lê Lai, Hoan Kiem. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic, and the cyclo will drop you off right in front of the monument.

If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from various locations around the city. Head towards Hoan Kiem Lake and ride along the lake's perimeter. When you reach Le Lai Street, turn onto it and bike west for a few minutes. The statue will be visible in Ly Thai To Park.
