Travel Guide to Nam Giao Esplanade

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Hue, head towards Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Le Loi Street. Turn left onto Le Loi Street and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by the Hue Imperial City on your right. Continue straight until you reach a large roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nguyen Hue Street. Walk for another 500 meters until you see the signs for Nam Giao Esplanade. Turn left onto the road leading towards Nam Giao Esplanade, which will be a short walk from here.

• Cyclo (Pedicab)

  From the center of Hue, look for a cyclo station or flag down a cyclo on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Nam Giao Esplanade. They will take you along Tran Hung Dao Street, then to Le Loi Street, and finally to Nguyen Hue Street. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and you can enjoy the sights of the city while being transported directly to the esplanade.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in the center of Hue. Start by heading along Tran Hung Dao Street. Follow the same route as the walking directions: turn left onto Le Loi Street, then continue straight until you reach the large roundabout. Take the second exit onto Nguyen Hue Street. After about 500 meters, you will find the turnoff for Nam Giao Esplanade on your left. The total distance is approximately 3 kilometers, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes to reach by bicycle.
