Getting there

Bus

From the center of Hue, head to the 'Phú Hội' bus station, which is located on Lê Lợi Street. Look for a bus heading to Hương Thủy or Thủy Bằng. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Thủy Bằng bus stop, walk south along the main road for about 10 minutes until you reach Thuy Tien Lake. You will see signs directing you towards the lake.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in downtown Hue. Head east on Lê Lợi Street, then take a right onto Trần Hưng Đạo Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Quốc lộ 1A. Turn left and follow the road for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs for Thủy Bằng, then take a right turn onto the road leading to Thuy Tien Lake. The total ride will take around 30-40 minutes, and you'll enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Walking

If you are near the Imperial City, you can walk to Thuy Tien Lake. Start by walking along Trần Hưng Đạo Street toward the east. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto Quốc lộ 1A. Walk straight for another 1 kilometer until you see signs for Thủy Bằng. Continue walking to your right until you reach the lake, which should take around 40-50 minutes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
