If you are in the central area of Hue, walk towards Nguyen Hue Street. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue straight, and you will see the entrance to the Hue Historic Citadel on your left, marked by a large gate. The Citadel is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from most central hotels.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Hue. Start by heading towards Le Loi Street and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tran Hung Dao Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see the entrance to the Hue Historic Citadel on your left. The ride should take around 10 minutes.
