Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the center of Hue, head southeast on Le Loi street towards Tran Hung Dao street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hung Vuong street. Turn left onto Hung Vuong street and walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Vo Nguyen Giap street. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach a T-junction. Turn right onto Duong Van Thanh street. After about 300 meters, you will see the Temple of Literature on your left.

  • Cyclo (Pedicab)

    From your hotel or starting point in the city center, hire a cyclo and tell the driver you want to go to the Temple of Literature. The cyclo will take you through the city streets, passing by various local attractions and giving you a taste of local life. The driver will navigate to the Temple of Literature, which is about 3-4 kilometers from the center. This ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in the city center. Start by heading southeast on Le Loi street towards Tran Hung Dao street. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Hung Vuong street. Continue cycling for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Vo Nguyen Giap street.
