Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the center of Hue, head towards Le Loi Street, which is a prominent road running through the city. Walk along Le Loi Street until you reach the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street. Turn left onto Tran Hung Dao Street and continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Imperial City (The Citadel). Once you enter the Imperial City, follow the main path that leads you through the grounds. Keep to your left, and you will soon see the Flag Tower towering above the surrounding structures. The Flag Tower is located in the northwestern corner of the Imperial City complex.

Cyclo
For a more relaxed journey, consider hiring a cyclo (a bicycle rickshaw) from your location in Hue. Ask the driver to take you to the Imperial City. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Imperial City, pay the entrance fee (if applicable), and ask the driver to wait for you. After entering the Imperial City, simply follow the main path to the left, and the Flag Tower will be in sight shortly.
