1Day Biking to Nha Trang from Dalat

Highlight of our Viet Nam trip so far

The bike tour from Dalat to Nha Trang was the best thing we have done so far on our trip in Vietnam - neither of use are particularly frequent cyclists, but the tour was tailored to our ability, keeping the pace manageable, and with lots of encouragement for the more difficult/uphill sections! The downhill ride was an incredible experience, starting up in the mountains above the cloud, riding though the cloud level (quite literally inside the clouds at one point) before suddenly coming though to the most incredible views across the valley below, being on a bike allows to you take it all in, it was so so much better than just sitting in a car! The bikes were really comfortable and well maintained, we felt completely safe, even when the roads were a bit gravelly/bumpy. Once we reached the bottom of the downhill section we had lunch at a local place, vegetarian options were provided with no issue, and it was exactly what we needed after the long ride! For us, we decided we had reached the limit of our cycling abilities at this point (about 50km), and the flexibility to be able to be picked up here by the support car was very appreciated! Both our guide & driver were super fun & friendly, and we have a great time on the whole trip - I cannot recommend this experience more to anyone going from Dalat to Nha Trang, and would 100% recommend Viet Action tours for this or any other trips!!
