Follow the signs towards Phat Diem Cathedral (Nhà Thờ Đá Phát Diệm) located at 75 Phố Phát Diệm Đông. There is parking available near the cathedral.

  For those traveling by bus, you can take a bus from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Buses leave regularly from the Giap Bat Bus Station. The journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours and costs approximately 100,000 to 150,000 VND. Once you arrive in Ninh Binh, you can take a local bus or taxi to Phat Diem, which is roughly 25 kilometers away. Local buses may charge around 30,000 VND, while a taxi could cost around 300,000 to 400,000 VND.

• Train

  Another option is to take a train from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Trains run several times a day, and the journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. Tickets generally cost between 80,000 and 200,000 VND depending on the class. From the Ninh Binh train station, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Phat Diem, which is around 25 kilometers away. Expect to pay approximately 30,000 VND for the bus or 300,000 to 400,000 VND for a taxi.

• Motorbike

  For adventurous travelers, renting a motorbike is a fantastic way to explore the countryside. You can rent a motorbike in Ninh Binh for about 150,000 to 200,000 VND per day. From Ninh Binh, head south on National Route 1A, then follow the signs to Phat Diem. The ride is about 25 kilometers and takes roughly 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views along the way.
