If you are driving from Dong Hoi, take National Route 1A (QL1A) southwards. After approximately 40 kilometers, follow the signs for Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Turn left onto Ho Chi Minh Tây Road and continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach Dark Cave. There is parking available near the entrance. Be sure to check the road conditions beforehand and consider using a GPS for precise navigation.

Take a local bus from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha. Buses leave regularly from the Dong Hoi bus station and the journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Phong Nha, you can take a taxi or a motorbike taxi to Dark Cave, which is about 5 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 50,000 - 100,000 VND for the motorbike taxi fare. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting the ride.
