Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Ninh Bình City. Head southwest on Trần Hưng Đạo Street, then take a left onto Quốc lộ 1A (National Route 1A). Follow this road for approximately 30 km until you reach the intersection with Quốc lộ 12A (National Route 12A). Turn left onto Quốc lộ 12A and follow the signs for Cuc Phuong National Park. The park entrance is located about 20 km from this junction. Be aware that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately 40,000 VND per person.

  • Bus

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Ninh Bình City to Nho Quan. Buses to Nho Quan run frequently from the Ninh Bình Bus Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes and costs around 20,000 VND. Once you arrive in Nho Quan, you can take a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to Cuc Phuong National Park, which is approximately 18 km away. The taxi fare should be around 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND depending on your negotiation skills.

  • Motorbike

    If you're feeling adventurous, renting a motorbike in Ninh Bình is a great option. You can rent a motorbike for around 100,000 VND per day. From Ninh Bình, follow the same route as described for cars, taking Quốc lộ 1A and then Quốc lộ 12A. The drive will take about 1 hour. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. Keep in mind that there is an entrance fee of about 40,000 VND for the park.
