If you are driving from Hanoi, take National Route 1A to Lạng Sơn. The drive is approximately 160 km and should take about 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Lạng Sơn, follow the signs to Bắc Sơn District. After arriving in Bắc Sơn, continue on the main road until you see signs for Quỳnh Sơn and Bac Son Valley. The valley is located approximately 20 km from the center of Bắc Sơn District.

From Hanoi, you can take a bus to Lạng Sơn. Buses depart from My Dinh Bus Station and the journey takes around 4 to 5 hours. Check the schedule ahead of time as the frequency may vary. Once you arrive in Lạng Sơn, you can take a local bus or taxi to Bắc Sơn District. The local bus will cost around 40,000 VND and takes about an hour to reach Bắc Sơn. From there, you can either take a taxi (approximately 200,000 VND) or rent a motorbike to reach Bac Son Valley, which is around 20 km away.
