Car
From Hanoi, head northeast on Highway 3 (QL3) towards Đông Anh. Continue on QL3 for about 15 km until you reach the intersection with Quốc lộ 1A (QL1A). Turn left onto QL1A and follow the signs for Co Loa Citadel. After approximately 5 km, you will arrive at Co Loa Citadel, located on your right at Thôn Chùa, Đông Anh. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Begin at the center of Hanoi and take bus number 17 from either the Kim Mã station or the Long Biên bus station. The bus will take you directly to Đông Anh. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Đông Anh, disembark at the Đông Anh bus station. From there, you can take a taxi or a motorbike taxi to Co Loa Citadel, which is about 5 km away. Expect to pay around 30,000 VND for the ride.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service (e.g., Grab)
If you prefer a more direct route, consider using a taxi or a ride-hailing app like Grab. Simply input 'Co Loa Citadel' as your destination. This option is convenient and will take you directly from your location in Hanoi to the citadel. The fare will typically range from 200,000 to 300,000 VND, depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.
