Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Hoan Kiem Lake, walk north along Dinh Tien Hoang Street until you reach Trang Thi Street. Turn left onto Trang Thi and continue until you reach the intersection with Phan Dinh Phung Street. Turn right on Phan Dinh Phung, and follow it north until you reach the roundabout at the end. From the roundabout, take the second exit onto Thanh Nien Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see Quan Thanh Temple on your left.

Bus
From the Old Quarter, you can take bus number 18 from the stop on Hang Da Street. The bus will take you towards Ba Dinh. Get off at the 'Quang Ba' stop, which is a short walk from Quan Thanh Temple. After disembarking, walk east along Thanh Nien Street for about 5 minutes, and you will see the temple on your right.

Cyclo
You can hire a cyclo from various points in the Old Quarter such as near Hang Gai Street. Ask the driver to take you to Quan Thanh Temple. The ride will take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Just let the driver know when you arrive at the temple, and they will drop you off right outside.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the Old Quarter. Head northwest towards Ly Thai To Street and then take a left onto Phan Dinh Phung Street. Follow Phan Dinh Phung all the way until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Thanh Nien Street. Cycle along Thanh Nien for about 10 minutes, and Quan Thanh Temple will be on your left.
