If you are driving, start from the center of Northwest Vietnam, such as Sapa or Lai Chau. Take National Route 4D heading south. Continue for approximately 150 km until you reach the junction of National Route 10. Turn onto National Route 10 and drive for another 50 km towards Hai Phong. Once you approach the city, follow signs for Tiên Lãng District, and then navigate to Lộc Trù. The Vietnam War Bunker is located at MJXF+6MG, Lộc Trù, Tiên Lãng, Hải Phòng. Ensure you have GPS or a detailed map, as some roads may not be well marked. Parking may be available near the site, but check local restrictions.
Public Transportation
To reach the Vietnam War Bunker by public transportation, first take a bus from your location in Northwest to Hai Phong City. Several bus companies operate this route, and tickets can cost around 100,000-200,000 VND depending on your departure city. Once in Hai Phong, head to the main bus station and take a local bus or taxi to Tiên Lãng District. Local buses may not have a direct route, so it’s advisable to ask locals or check for the bus line heading towards Lộc Trù. The final leg to the bunker can be reached by a short taxi or motorbike ride from the bus stop in Lộc Trù. Confirm with the driver that you are going to MJXF+6MG, Lộc Trù, Tiên Lãng.
