From the center of Hanoi, head west on Lê Duẩn Street and continue straight onto Trần Hưng Đạo Street. Follow the signs to Quốc Oai and take National Route 32. Continue on National Route 32 for approximately 30 km. When you reach Quốc Oai District, turn onto ĐT 421 at the traffic light and then take a left onto Sài Sơn Street. Chùa Thầy will be on your right. Look for the entrance marked with signage.

Take Bus No. 71 from Kim Mã Station in Hanoi towards Quốc Oai. The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at the Quốc Oai bus station. From there, you can take a taxi or a local motorbike taxi (xe ôm) to Chùa Thầy. It's a short 10-minute ride. Make sure to show the driver the name 'Chùa Thầy' to ensure they know your destination.
