Walking
From the center of Sapa town, head east on Muong Hoa Street. Continue straight until you reach the Muong Hoa Valley viewpoint. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you reach the viewpoint, you will see signs indicating the trail to Lao Chai Village. Follow the signs and the dirt path that leads you downhill towards Lao Chai. After walking for about 1 hour, you will arrive at Lao Chai Village. From there, look for signs directing you to Bản Mòng Sapa - Mong Village Resort. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Lao Chai.

Trekking
For an adventurous route, start at the Sapa Cultural Center. Join a guided trekking tour that leads you through the scenic landscapes of rice terraces and local villages. Most tours will take you through Lao Chai and Tavan villages. Specify that you want to reach Bản Mòng Sapa - Mong Village Resort, and your guide will be able to navigate the best paths. This trek generally takes around 4-5 hours depending on your pace and stops along the way.

Local Transport (Motorbike Taxi)
You can hire a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) from anywhere in Sapa town. Simply ask the driver to take you to Lao Chai village. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once in Lao Chai, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Bản Mòng Sapa - Mong Village Resort. From there, it's a short walk of about 15 minutes to the resort.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Sapa town. Head out of town towards Muong Hoa Valley. Follow the road signs that direct you to Lao Chai. The cycling route is scenic but can be steep in some areas, so take your time. After cycling for about 1 hour, you will reach Lao Chai. From there, you can either walk or ask locals for directions to Bản Mòng Sapa - Mong Village Resort, which is about 15 minutes away.
