Start from the center of Sa Pa town, where the main square is located. Head east on Thạch Sơn Street towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mường Hoa Street. Turn left onto Mường Hoa Street and walk until you reach the cable car station for Fansipan Mountain. From here, you can take a short hike or a motorbike taxi to Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. The hike will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Follow the signs that say 'Cổng Trời' and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

From your location in Sa Pa, you can easily find a motorbike taxi (xe ôm) on the main streets. Tell the driver you want to go to Cổng Trời Ô Quý Hồ. The journey will take about 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the main road towards Ô Quý Hồ. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Cổng Trời.
