Sơn Trà Mountain: Nature's Majestic Escape

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Da Nang city center, head southeast on Trần Phú Street, then turn left onto Võ Nguyên Giáp Street. Continue until you reach the entrance to Sơn Trà Mountain, which is well-marked. Make sure to park in designated areas as there may be parking fees ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 VND.

• Public Bus

  You can take bus number 1 from Da Nang city center (starting from the bus station near Han River) that goes towards Sơn Trà. The fare is approximately 10,000 VND. The bus will drop you off at the foot of Sơn Trà Mountain. From there, you can either hike or hire a local taxi or motorbike taxi to take you up the mountain.

• Taxi

  For a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from your location in Da Nang. The ride to Sơn Trà Mountain will take about 20-30 minutes and cost around 150,000 to 250,000 VND depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Motorbike Rental

  If you prefer to explore on your own, renting a motorbike is a great option. You can find rental shops throughout Da Nang, with prices generally around 100,000 VND per day. Directions remain the same as driving; follow Võ Nguyên Giáp Street until you reach the mountain. Keep an eye on the road signs and local traffic.
