Public Bus
From downtown Blacksburg, head to the Blacksburg Transit bus stop at the intersection of Washington Street and Draper Road. Take the Route 42 bus towards the 'Blacksburg Transit Center'. After about 20 minutes, transfer to the Route 5 bus at the Transit Center. This bus will take you towards Roanoke. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the 'Explore Park' stop. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bike Rental
Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Blacksburg, such as 'Blacksburg Bike Shop'. Head out of the shop and pedal towards the Huckleberry Trail, which you can access from the intersection of Price's Fork Road and Huckleberry Trail. Ride along the trail heading southwest for about 6 miles until you reach the Explore Park entrance on Roanoke River Parkway. The ride is scenic and mostly flat, taking approximately 30-45 minutes.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Virginia Tech campus. Exit the campus and head down Prices Fork Road towards the Huckleberry Trail. Walk on the trail for about 6 miles, which should take around 2 hours. Follow the trail signs until you reach the entrance of Explore Park.
