From downtown Roanoke, head to the nearest bus stop to catch the Valley Metro bus route 22 towards Vinton. You can catch the bus at the Roanoke City Market area or the Civic Center. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride towards Vinton. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to 820 E Washington Ave in Vinton. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the Vinton Love Sign, which is located at 820 E Washington Ave.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental stations available in Roanoke. Start from the Roanoke River Greenway, which offers a beautiful and safe route. Follow the Greenway towards the Vinton area, which will take you approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. As you approach Vinton, head towards E Washington Ave. The Love Sign will be on your right at 820 E Washington Ave.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk, start from downtown Roanoke. Head east on Campbell Ave towards 10th St SE. Turn left on 10th St SE and continue until you reach the intersection with E Washington Ave. Turn right on E Washington Ave and continue walking until you reach 820 E Washington Ave. This walk is around 3.5 miles and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
