If you are starting from downtown Charlottesville, head west on East Main Street. Continue straight until you reach Route 29. Cross over to the other side of the road and continue walking straight. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto Cherry Avenue. Continue walking for another 0.3 miles, and Tonsler Park will be on your right at 500 Cherry Ave. Look for the park entrance, which is easily visible from the street.
