From the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History, head east on Main Street toward the intersection with Craghead Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street and walk for another 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with the Dan River. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Riverside Drive and continue for approximately 0.4 miles until you see the historic Danville City Hall on your left, located at 427 Patton St.

From the Danville Transit Station at 401 Patton St, take the Route 1 bus towards the Danville Mall. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Main St & Craghead St' stop. From there, walk south along Craghead Street for about 0.2 miles, then take a right onto Main Street. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street.
