If you're starting from downtown Fredericksburg, begin at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center located at 706 Caroline Street. Head south on Caroline Street until you reach the intersection with Princess Anne Street. Turn left and continue on Princess Anne Street until you reach the intersection with George Street. Turn right onto George Street and follow it until it merges into Route 3 (William Street). Continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lafayette Boulevard. Cross at the traffic signals and continue straight. Meade's Pyramid will be on your left side within the Mary Washington Memorial Park area.

Bicycle
Starting from downtown Fredericksburg, rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop. Head to the Rappahannock River Heritage Trail, accessible via the Riverfront Park. Cycle on the trail heading east, enjoying the views of the river. After about 1 mile, exit the trail onto Sophia Street. Continue on Sophia Street, which will turn into Route 3. Follow Route 3 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Lafayette Boulevard.
