Getting There

  • Car

    From Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, head southwest on US-17 S towards South Mills. After about 16 miles, merge onto I-64 E toward Norfolk. Continue on I-64 E for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 274B for US-460 E toward Norfolk. Continue for about 2 miles, and then take the exit toward Waterside Dr. Follow Waterside Dr to reach Nauticus at 1 Waterside Dr, Norfolk, VA 23510. There is parking available nearby, with costs typically around $5-$10 depending on the duration.

    To reach Nauticus via public transportation, start by taking a local bus from the Great Dismal Swamp area to the nearest bus station, such as the Suffolk Transit or Chesapeake Transit services.
