  If you are starting from downtown Harrisonburg, begin at the intersection of Main St and Court Square. Afterward, take a right onto E Market St. and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Dogwood Dr. Turn left onto S Dogwood Dr. and follow it for about 0.3 miles until you see the entrance to Astronomy Park on your right.   If you have a bike, you can start from the downtown area as well. Begin at the intersection of Main St and Court Square. Cycle east on Main St. for about 0.3 miles until you reach S High St. Turn left onto S High St. and continue for another 0.4 miles. Then, take a right onto E Market St. and ride for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Dogwood Dr. Turn left onto S Dogwood Dr. and bike for about 0.3 miles.   To reach Astronomy Park using public transportation, start at the JMU (James Madison University) bus stop located on Main St. Catch the local bus route that heads towards the area of the park. You may need to transfer at the downtown transfer point depending on the route schedule. Ask the bus driver for the best stop to get off for Astronomy Park. Once you disembark, walk about 0.5 miles south on S Dogwood Dr. until you reach the entrance of Astronomy Park on your left.
