Bus
If you are in downtown Harrisonburg, take the JMU Campus Bus (Green Line) towards the Student Center. Get off at the last stop at the Student Center. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop on S Main St. Catch the 10A or 10B bus heading to Staunton. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Greenwood Rd. After getting off, walk approximately 0.5 miles along Greenwood Rd, and you will find Chiswell Farm & Winery on your left at 430 Greenwood Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local shop in Harrisonburg. Start at the intersection of S Main St and E Market St. Head south on S Main St, then take a left onto W Market St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-29 S (S Main St). Turn right onto US-29 S and follow the road for about 8 miles. You will see signs for Greenwood Rd; take a left turn and continue for a short distance until you reach Chiswell Farm & Winery on your left.
Walking
For an adventurous walk, start at Court Square in downtown Harrisonburg. Walk down S Main St until you reach W Market St. Turn right onto W Market St and continue walking straight. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with US-29 S (S Main St). Cross the street and continue straight for about 8 miles. When you reach Greenwood Rd, turn left and walk approximately 0.5 miles to find Chiswell Farm & Winery on your left.
