Car
If you are traveling by car from Williamsburg, head northwest on US-60 W toward Richmond. Merge onto I-64 W and continue for about 30 miles. Take exit 118 for US-29 N toward Culpeper. Continue on US-29 N for about 30 miles, then take the exit onto VA-230 E. After about 5 miles, turn left onto Constitution Hwy (VA-20 N). James Madison's Montpelier will be on your left at 11350 Constitution Hwy, Montpelier Station, VA 22957. Note that parking is available on-site.

To reach Montpelier via public transportation, take a Greyhound or Megabus from Williamsburg to Charlottesville. From Charlottesville, use the local bus service (CAT) to reach the nearest stop to Montpelier.
