Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Historic Triangle area. Head east on Route 60 (Richmond Road) toward Williamsburg. After approximately 5 miles, take the exit toward US-199 E. Merge onto US-199 E and drive for about 2 miles. Take the exit for John Tyler Highway (VA-5) and turn left onto Sir Gilbert Loop. Church on the Main will be on your right at 2604 Sir Gilbert Loop. There is free parking available on-site.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Williamsburg Area Transport (WAT) bus service. Board the WAT Route 1 bus heading toward New Town. After about a 20-minute ride, get off at the stop near the intersection of Route 199 and Sir Gilbert Loop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk: head south on Sir Gilbert Loop, and Church on the Main will be on your left at 2604 Sir Gilbert Loop. Bus fare is approximately $1.00 per ride.

For those already in the vicinity and comfortable walking, you can take a scenic route to Church on the Main. Start from the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. Walk west on Francis Street until you reach the intersection with Route 60. Continue on Francis Street as it becomes Sir Gilbert Loop. The total walking distance is about 1.5 miles, which should take approximately 30 minutes. Enjoy the historic buildings along the way!
