Car
If you are traveling by car within the Historic Triangle, navigate to Yorktown by following the signs towards Route 60 East. From Williamsburg, take the Bus. Route 60 East for about 12 miles until you reach the light at Route 17. Turn right onto Route 17 South. Continue for about 5 miles until you reach Yorktown. As you enter Yorktown, follow Main Street (Route 603) until you see the Yorktown Victory Monument on your right at 803 Main St, Yorktown, VA 23690. Parking is available near the monument, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking in some areas.
Public Transportation
To reach the Yorktown Victory Monument using public transportation, you can take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus service. Board the Route 1 (Yorktown) bus from Williamsburg. The bus will take you directly to Yorktown, where you will disembark at the Main Street stop. From there, it’s a short walk down Main Street to the monument, which is located at 803 Main St, Yorktown, VA 23690. Make sure to check the WATA schedule for the most current times and routes, and keep in mind that there may be a fare to ride the bus, typically around $1.00.
