Car
From Luray Caverns, head southwest on US-211 W. Continue on US-211 W for about 4 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Shenandoah National Park. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee of $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days. After entering the park, continue on Skyline Drive for approximately 9 miles until you reach the Stony Man Mountain Overlook. There will be a parking area available at the overlook.

While public transportation options are limited in rural Virginia, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from Luray Caverns to the entrance of Shenandoah National Park. This will typically cost between $15 and $30, depending on the service and time of day. Once at the park entrance, you will need to pay the $30 entrance fee per vehicle. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Stony Man Mountain Overlook, which is located approximately 2 miles from the entrance along Skyline Drive.
