From Luray Caverns, head south on US-340 S toward Luray. Continue on US-340 S for about 2.5 miles. Then, turn right onto VA-211 W. Follow VA-211 W for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Skyline Drive. Turn left onto Skyline Drive. Continue on Skyline Drive for about 5.5 miles, and you will see the sign for Thorofare Mountain Overlook on your left. There is no entrance fee for the overlook, but you may need to pay a fee for Skyline Drive if you enter from another point.
