Car
From any location in Middle Peninsula, head towards US-17 N. Follow US-17 N for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with I-64. Merge onto I-64 W towards Richmond. Continue on I-64 W for approximately 25 miles. Take exit 190A to merge onto Broad St toward US-33 E/US-250 E. Continue on Broad St for about 1 mile and then turn right onto 9th St. Follow 9th St until it intersects with Bank St, where you'll turn left. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your left at 1000 Bank St, Richmond, VA 23218. Parking is available in nearby garages, which may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus from various locations in Middle Peninsula to Richmond. Upon arrival at the Richmond bus station, you can take the GRTC bus (Route 1 or Route 3) towards the Downtown area. Disembark at the stop near Broad St & 9th St. From there, walk two blocks south on 9th St until you reach Bank St, and turn left. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your left. Be sure to check the schedule for bus times and potential fares, which may vary depending on your departure point.
