If you're starting from the Petersburg Visitor Center at 100 River St, head west on River St toward N Sycamore St. Continue straight onto N Sycamore St for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto E Washington St. Walk for another 0.2 miles and you will reach the intersection with S Crater Rd. Take the GRTC Transit System bus 1A (toward Broad St) from the nearby bus stop on E Washington St for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop at Broad St & 7th St. From there, transfer to the GRTC bus 3 (toward Southside Plaza) and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop at Altamont Ave & Broad St. Walk south on Altamont Ave for about 0.2 miles, and Black Heath Meadery will be on your right at 1313 Altamont Ave, Richmond, VA.

From the Petersburg Transit Center, board the GRTC bus 1A (toward Broad St) directly. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes, enjoying the views of the city. Once you reach the Broad St & 7th St stop, transfer to bus 3 (toward Southside Plaza).
