Car
From Northern Neck, head south on VA-3 S toward Tappahannock. Continue for about 30 miles until you reach I-95 N. Merge onto I-95 N and drive for approximately 35 miles. Take exit 74C for Broad Street. Continue on Broad Street for about 3 miles, and the Science Museum of Virginia will be on your left at 2500 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23220. There is parking available, but check for any parking fees that may apply.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from a nearby bus station in Northern Neck (check local schedules). The bus will take you to Richmond. Once in Richmond, use the GRTC Transit System. Take the Pulse bus route towards Main St Station and disembark at the Broad St & Adams St stop. Walk west along Broad Street for a few blocks until you reach the Science Museum of Virginia at 2500 W Broad St. Please check the Greyhound and GRTC websites for fare costs and schedules.

If you prefer a combination of both methods, drive to a nearby larger town with bus services, such as Tappahannock. From there, take a Greyhound bus to Richmond. Upon arrival in Richmond, use the GRTC Transit System to reach the museum. This option allows you to avoid parking in Richmond while still accessing public transport.
