The nearest entrance to Meadow Spring Trail is the Thornton Gap Entrance. Once inside, continue driving on Skyline Drive, keeping an eye out for the trailhead. You will travel approximately 10 miles from the Thornton Gap Entrance. Look for the sign for Meadow Spring Trail, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available for visitors.

Public transportation options are limited directly within Skyline Drive. The closest bus service is in Luray, VA. If you are coming from Luray, you can use a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the Thornton Gap Entrance on Skyline Drive. Once at the entrance, you will need to drive or get a ride to the Meadow Spring Trailhead, which is about 10 miles along Skyline Drive. Be aware that Shenandoah National Park charges an entrance fee, which is $30 per vehicle valid for 7 days.
