To reach the Edith J. Carrier Arboretum by car, start on US-33 E (E Market St) from your starting location in Southern Virginia. Continue on US-33 E for about 30 miles until you reach Harrisonburg. Once in Harrisonburg, follow signs for I-81 N. Take the exit onto I-81 N and drive for about 5 miles. Take exit 245 for US-11 N toward Harrisonburg. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto University Blvd. Continue on University Blvd for about 1 mile, and the Arboretum will be on your right at 780 University Blvd. Parking is available on site.
