If you are driving, the NRA National Firearms Museum is located at 11250 Waples Mill Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030. From anywhere in Southwest Virginia, get on US-460 E towards I-81 N. Merge onto I-81 N and continue for about 100 miles. Take exit 277 for I-66 E towards Washington. Continue on I-66 E for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 60 towards Waples Mill Rd. Turn left onto Waples Mill Rd, and the museum will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, and there is no fee for parking.

For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus from major locations in Southwest Virginia to Washington, DC. From there, you will need to utilize the Washington Metro System. Take the Metro to the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU station on the Orange Line. From the station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft, to the museum. It is approximately a 15-minute ride from the station to 11250 Waples Mill Rd. Ensure to check the schedule and availability of buses and Metro services in advance.
