    From downtown Staunton, walk to the Staunton City Hall bus stop. Take the Waynesboro bus (Route 1) towards Waynesboro. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the bus stop at the intersection of Route 250 and the Blue Ridge Parkway. From there, it’s a 2-mile walk to the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center. Follow the Blue Ridge Parkway signs; the visitor center is located at Milepost 5.8.

    If you're in Staunton, you can rent a bike from a local shop. Start at the corner of Johnson Street and Augusta Avenue, and head east on Augusta Avenue until you reach Route 250. Turn left onto Route 250 and follow it for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once you’re on the Parkway, continue to Milepost 5.8 where the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center is located.

    From downtown Staunton, head southwest on East Beverley Street towards North Augusta Street. Continue straight onto Route 250 West. Walk along Route 250 for approximately 5 miles. Once you reach the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance, continue along the Parkway for about 1 mile to reach the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center at Milepost 5.8.
