Public Bus
To reach Wintergreen Resort from Staunton, take the Waynesboro Shuttle from the Staunton Public Library at 1 Churchville Ave. Board the bus heading towards Waynesboro. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Waynesboro Mall stop. From there, transfer to the Wintergreen Resort shuttle, which may require checking the schedule in advance. The shuttle will take you directly to Wintergreen Resort.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Staunton. Start at the intersection of East Beverley Street and North Augusta Street and head south on North Augusta. Continue onto the Greenway path which will lead you toward the outskirts of Staunton. Follow the path until you reach the main road towards Nellysford. The ride is approximately 12 miles and will take about an hour. Please ensure to follow all cycling regulations and wear a helmet.

Walking to Wintergreen Resort from Staunton is not practical due to the distance (approximately 12 miles).
