    From Assateague Island, head northwest on MD-611 N. Continue on MD-611 N for about 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Coastal Highway (MD-528). Turn left onto Coastal Highway (MD-528) and continue south for approximately 4 miles. After you cross the bridge, continue straight onto 1st Street. Follow 1st Street until you reach the boardwalk area. The Ocean City Boardwalk will be on your right, at 698 N Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, MD 21842. Note that there is often parking available, but be prepared for parking fees which can range from $5 to $20 depending on the time of year and duration of your stay.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Beach Bus service from Assateague Island to Ocean City. The bus stop is located near the entrance of the Assateague Island National Seashore. Board the Beach Bus heading north towards Ocean City. The ride usually takes about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is approximately $3 per person each way. Disembark at the stop closest to the boardwalk area, which is near 1st Street and Coastal Highway. From there, it's just a short walk to the Ocean City Boardwalk, located at 698 N Atlantic Ave.
