From Norfolk, take I-64 W toward Richmond. Merge onto US-460 W via exit 276A toward Petersburg. Continue on US-460 W for approximately 30 miles. Take the exit toward Surry/Smithfield. Follow signs for VA-10 S and continue for about 10 miles. Turn left onto Bacons Castle Trail. Bacon's Castle will be on your right at 465 Bacons Castle Trail, Surry, VA 23883. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
Take the Tidewater Regional Transit bus #2 from downtown Norfolk to the Hampton Roads Transit Transfer Station. From there, catch the Greyhound bus heading towards Richmond.
